Summary
Directed by Wes Anderson, Rushmore (1998) is a eccentric comedy film that follows Max Fischer (Jason Schwartzman), an overly ambitious 15-year-old scholarship student at the elite Rushmore Academy who excels in extracurricular activities while failing academically. After getting expelled, Max strikes up an unusual friendship with disillusioned industrialist Herman Blume (Bill Murray), but their bond deteriorates into an absurd vendetta when both men fall in love with Rosemary Cross (Olivia Williams), an elementary school teacher at Rushmore.
