Human Intelligence 2.0: Co-Evolution through Strategic Human–AI Collaboration for Sustainable Competitive Advantage is a forthcoming 2026 edited volume from CRC Press/Routledge that examines how humans and artificial intelligence can develop complementary capabilities rather than treating AI simply as a replacement for human work.

Its central idea is that organizations can strategically combine human judgment, creativity, expertise and communication with AI's analytical and computational capabilities to strengthen human capabilities and maintain sustainable competitiveness in rapidly changing markets. The book brings together interdisciplinary research aimed at academics, researchers, business professionals and policymakers.

The volume also connects human–AI collaboration with innovation, sustainability, education and organizational practice. Among its highlighted components are the SDG Youth Challenge, the Three Minute Thesis competition, a postgraduate research colloquium, and discussions involving academics and industry leaders about the future of human–AI collaboration through action research.

In this sense, Human Intelligence 2.0 presents AI not merely as a technological tool but as part of an evolving human–technology relationship in which institutions need to develop new skills, forms of collaboration and strategic approaches to capture AI's benefits while preserving and strengthening human capabilities.
