ABCs of Particle Physics

Summary

The ABCs of Particle Physics by Lauren Biron and Chris Smith is an educational project produced by Symmetry magazine (a joint publication of Fermilab and SLAC) that introduces readers of all ages to complex scientific concepts through a playful, children's-book format.

Using a rhyming structure inspired by classic alphabet books, the interactive feature pairs each letter from A to Z with a foundational particle physics topic—such as "A for Accelerator"—alongside accompanying animations and extra bonus explanations to make high-tech equipment, subatomic particles, and far-out theoretical phenomena accessible and fun.
